He brings a disciplined operating mindset to a rapidly scaling multifamily portfolio, with a particular focus on building high-performing teams, clarifying roles and decision rights, and aligning incentives to drive consistent outcomes across markets. Throughout his career, Roman has distinguished himself by his ability to identify and develop leadership talent, translate strategy into executable plans, and adapt operating models to the nuances of individual markets. Prior to joining Disrupt Group, Roman served as Chief Operating Officer of Beam Living, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he led operations for a premier multifamily platform in one of the most competitive rental markets in the country. Previously, he was Senior Vice President at Northland Investment Corporation, overseeing operations for more than 26,000 apartment homes across 14 markets and multiple investment vehicles valued at approximately $1.2 billion. Earlier in his career, Roman held senior leadership roles at Camden Property Trust, where he managed 20,000 units across Texas and Colorado markets, and at Hines, where he worked in both operational and development capacities, helping manage $1.1 billion in multinational commercial and industrial real estate funds.
Roman’s leadership is marked by a steady, pragmatic approach, deep market knowledge, and a consistent emphasis on execution, culture, and accountability. He is widely respected for his ability to build trust with stakeholders, bring clarity to complex organizations, and lead teams through periods of growth and change.
