Andre brings over 20 years of experience in education, university, and non-profit work to Disrupt. Previous experience includes working as a Senior Manager for World Vision, a global humanitarian organization that provides food security, clean water, and housing for disadvantaged families in developing countries. He is grateful to return back to Houston, serving those in need in the Houston community, state of Texas, and around the nation.

Andre’s post secondary education began with a B.A. in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University, and continued with a Masters in Administration from Lamar University, as well as a Doctorate from Concordia University where he began writing a dissertation on the inequities of people of color in public education.

Excited to lead strategic efforts around fundraising, grant writing, and charity work, Andre also enjoys spending time with his two young sons as they learn music, arts, computer coding, and video gaming!
